Welcome to Dark Mondays with Kevin Boseman. I’m Kevin Boseman. Now, I was a theatre major in college. I’ve danced in a couple of the world‘s most famous dance companies. I’ve been on Broadway. I’ve done Broadway national tours. I’ve done off Broadway. I’ve done regional theater. I’ve choreographed and directed theatre. And now I’m even producing theater. 

I’m one of those people who doesn’t just go see theatre for the entertainment, I like to analyze it and contextualize it with anyone who’ll engage. The same rings true for tv shows, films, books, music, even a piece of art. And I’m bringing all that to this weekly podcast about theater. So if any of that sounds like you, then Dark Mondays with Kevin Boseman is the podcast for you. 

Now each week will be a little different. There will be intimate conversations with folks in theatre. I’m talking the actors, the directors, the choreographers, and producers. And there will be weeks where I deep dive into a show, current or from years past, and I’m going beyond just the spectacle, and exploring the cultural, social and  political impact, with just a sprinkle of gossip because it’s all in theatre.
